Timely Budget Development for the Local Spiritual Assembly
Plan now in March and April to develop your Assembly budget for the upcoming fiscal year. Presenting a draft budget to the Assembly for consultation and approval in March or early April is very helpful—this way, the new fiscal year budget is provided to the incoming Assembly. And the incoming Assembly may alter it if necessary.
Online Audit System (OAS) News
This resource greatly assists the incoming Assembly treasurer:
Treasurers are encouraged from March through April to upload bank statements and other files that will be used for that year’s audit, into the OAS Document Repository. The OAS Document Repository is now operational. Documents can be saved there and moved into the audit when they are created after the end of the fiscal year (April 30). A short video explains how to use the Document Repository in the Audit section of Treasurer Tools under “Training Resources by Roles & Tasks”.
