Spiritual Conversations Span Generations

I was able to host devotions in my home each week until the COVID pandemic got worse. One of the seekers was willing to receive phone calls. We have been meeting each week by phone for a devotion/fireside/spiritual conversation that lasts at least two hours each time. I am 79 and he is 33 years old. We have become friends and he enjoys talking to me about spirituality.

He has told me that it’s been difficult for him to find people who are interested in this topic or meet folks who are determined that their “way” to spirituality is the only valid one. He has made a great effort to find out about the world’s religions and he likes the Bahá’í emphasis on the 3 Onenesses. It’s been a great joy for me to find such a serious student of enlightenment.
